Ms. Narantuya Gundegmaa is a partner at the Firm specializing in the energy and natural resources sector.

Ms. Narantuya routinely advises clients on acquisitions, sales, joint ventures, environmental compliance, land, and project development, notably in the energy and natural resources sector. She has represented many companies active in the natural resources sector, including Vale, Noble Group, BHP Billiton, Ivanhoe, Teck, Oyu Tolgoi (the company developing Mongolia's flagship copper and gold project), Entree Resources, and Australian Stock Exchange-listed companies Draig Resources and FeOre Corporation, among others, during the course of her 20+ year association with the Firm and she is (in our opinion) the most skilled minerals exploration and mining compliance attorney in the country.

Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Narantuya was a legal advisor at the Parliament of Mongolia and a senior legal advisor at the Mineral Resources and Petroleum Authority of Mongolia.

Ms. Narantuya received her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the Police Academy of Mongolia and a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from the School of Law, National University of Mongolia. She is a member of the Mongolian Bar Association and received an intellectual property agent license from the Intellectual Property Office of Mongolia in 2019. Ms. Narantuya speaks Mongolian and English.
